Woke up at 5am for the dawn dive and saw 4 thresher sharks circling the cleaning station. Absolutely breathtaking — their long tails gliding gracefully in the early morning light with the sunbeams filtering down. I cried underwater! This dive center is world-class.
Stayed 5 nights and did 12 dives. The guesthouse room is basic but clean and the diving is all-star. Mandolin Shoal for the threshers, then Gato Island for white-tip sharks and sea snakes. The dive team here is phenomenal. Worth every hour of travel to get here.
