We collect information you provide directly (name, email, messages), information generated by your use of ISLA (conversation data for improving AI responses), and technical data (device type, browser, approximate location via IP). We do not collect payment information directly — all payments are processed by third-party providers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: operate and improve the Platform and ISLA AI; respond to your inquiries; send you travel updates and promotional content (with your consent); verify and manage tour operator listings; analyze usage patterns to improve user experience; and comply with legal obligations.

3. ISLA Conversation Data

Conversations with ISLA are stored to improve AI response quality. Conversation data is anonymized for AI training purposes. You may request deletion of your conversation history by contacting us. We do not sell conversation data to third parties.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with: tour operators when you submit an inquiry to them (only the information you provide in the inquiry); service providers who help us operate the Platform (hosting, analytics, email services) under strict confidentiality agreements; law enforcement when legally required.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze traffic. You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling cookies may affect Platform functionality.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption, secure server infrastructure, and regular security audits. However, no online transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations. Account data is retained for the lifetime of your account plus 2 years. Inquiry data is retained for 3 years. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to: access, correct, or delete your personal data; withdraw consent for marketing communications; request a copy of your data in portable format; lodge a complaint with the Philippine National Privacy Commission (NPC) if you believe your rights have been violated.

9. International Transfers

ISLA operates globally and your data may be processed in countries outside the Philippines. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers in compliance with Philippine data protection law (Republic Act 10173).
